Book clubs
At St Hilda’s we currently run three book clubs (Lower School years 7-9, Middle School years 10-11 and Upper School 6th form and staff). We meet each half term to discuss a specific book which has been chosen in advance for its content and ability to create meaningful discussions. The book clubs are very popular with the pupils who attend and, as a reward for attending all meetings, we take the pupils to Waterstones book shop in Liverpool One and buy them each a book of their choice at the end of the year.
