  • ⚽🏆 CITY FINALISTS! 🏆⚽ A huge congratulations to our Year 11 football team, who have become only the fourth St Hilda's team ever to reach the Liverpool Cup Final! This is a fantastic achievement for a group of players who have shown outstanding dedication, commitment and resilience, improving year on year and earning the rewards their hard work deserves. The team battled through a challenging group featuring SFX, Calderstones and Gateacre before securing their place in the final with a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Blue Coat. Goals from Mackey, Gaughan and Qassim, along with a crucial save from Faulkner, sealed a memorable semi-final win. In the final against Calderstones, an early strike from Gaughan proved the difference as St Hilda's claimed a deserved 1-0 victory. The team will now face North Liverpool champions West Derby in the Liverpool Cup Final as they look to make even more history. 👏 Well done to every player and member of staff involved.
